Tee strainers
Typical Service:
- Armstrong® fabricated TEE Strainers are designed to remove foreign particles from pipelines.
- These strainers provide effective and economical protection of pumps, valves and other similar more costly equipment.

Design :
- TEE type strainers are fabricated at the highest industrial standard from ANSI/ASME Tee fittings (B16.9) and flanges (B16.5).
- The screen guide is carefully hand-adjusted to ensure a close match between body and screen.
- The screen is manufactured with perforated plate or wire mesh (or both) in stainless steel or other alloys to customer’s requirements.
- Guide rods, of the same material of the body, allow an easy removal of the screen for cleaning or replacement.
- Different screen shapes are available to meet pressure drop requirements.
- An exclusive software can calculate the pressure drop for any design condition.
Manufacturing:
- Full traceability of all parts of all strainers ever produced.
- All strainers are individually Hydrostatic tested and/or checked with examination on BW welds and MPI/DPI on Fillet welds.
